For the first 15 minutes you are going to warm up your maths brain using the link below.
For the rest of this session, you are going to be playing ‘Don’t Roll a One’. Remember you need to play the Year 6 version otherwise you won’t be challenged (document below).

11am - 12pm: Literacy: Imagine you have been invited by Greta Thunberg to join her at her next speech to World Leaders. Imagine she has asked you to prepare a short speech about climate change and what you think needs to be done to combat it. Watch these short clips of Greta in action for inspiration (clips below) Listen to how powerful she comes across. Write your speech outlining what climate change is, its effect on the world and your five key ways to help combat it. Think about using emotive, powerful language to persuade World Leaders that this is an urgent matter. If possible, once you have written your speech, record/film it to send to your me.
12pm- 1pm LUNCH
1pm - 2pm: Topic Work: Today’s topic work is French. You are going to be learning about how to talk about your hobbies and your school in French. Follow the link below for the instructions and videos. The documents are below too.
