9am - 9:30am: PE

9:30am - 10:30am Maths

For the first 15 minutes you are going to warm up your maths brain using the link below. 

For the rest of this session, you are going to play Spin to Win game. Watch the video and then play the game yourself (link to video and document below). Don’t forget that you will be playing the Year 6 version and using the Year 6 resources from the document.

10:30am - 11am BREAK

11am - 12pm: Literacy: Explore how you can help combat climate change, using the two sources below. Make sure you jot down notes as you are reading. After reading the two sources (which are below), choose your top ten ways to help combat climate change. Task: Create a poster to explain the ‘Top Ten’ can help combat climate change. When designing your poster, consider these points. - Think about your layout – how will you make it stand out / eye-catching for your reader? - Think about your main title and subtitles – how could you make these encourage the reader to continue reading? - Think about your vocabulary – try to use precise vocabulary to make your explanations succinct.

12pm- 1pm LUNCH

1pm - 2pm: Topic Work: Today’s topic work is also Geography. You are going to be learning about fossil fuels and renewable energy. Follow the link below for the instructions and videos. The documents are below too.

2pm - 2:30pm BREAK

2:30pm - 3:00pm: Use this short session to work on one Spice Grid activity and bear in mind that it may take more than one session to complete it.
