9:30am - 10:30am: Maths
For the first 10-15 mins, practise your multiplication and division facts using the interactive resource (weblink below)
For the rest of the session, it is a rounding numbers activity (PowerPoint below). Remember to check which value it wants it to be rounded to.
10:30am - 11am BREAK
11am - 12pm: Literacy. This week, Literacy may overrun into the afternoon slots.
1) Read the ‘The Magic Box’ poem (document below)
2)Now watch the clip below.
3) Imagine the poem is now called ‘The Magic Shop’. What would you find in your magic shop? List some noun phrases to describe your magic shop.
4) Task: Now write your own poem called ‘The Magic Shop’ using the structure of ‘The Magic Box’, e.g. ‘I will put in the shop A delicate, ornate wand swishing silently on its own’. Remember to use Word Hippo (web link below) to improve your vocabulary.

Around the World in the Summer Term. Choose a country/city that you would love to visit and create a mind map all about it. I would love to create a tab on our home page for all of your friends to look and learn about a vast amount of places in our amazing world! This task may take up to 3 of these sessions a week if you are to complete it fully!. There is an example attached below. You can choose more than one to do a day.
