Year 6 Heartstart session
On Wednesday, the children in Year 6 attended a training session provided by the British Heart Foundation. These are sessions that train and equip children with basic first aid skills and CPR training. The children learnt how to make effective decisions and effective 999 calls. They also learnt the mnemonic D.R.S.A.B.C and their behaviour was fantastic. Dawn, the course leader, was amazed with the children's engagement, maturity and prior knowledge about how to keep safe and look after ourselves. Well done Year 6!
