Maths

We're carrying on our shape work today in maths by looking at areas - not to be mixed up with perimeter! What is 'area'? It's the amount of flat space a shape takes up - if the shape is 3D the space it takes up is called 'volume'. Have a look at this BBC Bitesize clip to see how we measure area, you'll see it will remind you quite a lot of when we did multiplication arrays!

Once you've done that, log on to Mathletics - you'll have 2 new assignments to complete all about area, weirdly enough they're called:

Equal areas

Areas of shapes

Good luck!
