For our last week we're going to leave fractions behind (I can hear you all cheering already) and move onto shape and space. We'll start off with perimeter - which is basically a fancy way of saying measure the lengths all the sides of a shape, add them all together. Have a look at this BBC Bitesize video and activities all about tips and tricks on how to quickly calculate perimeters:


Once you've done that, you'll need to log on to Mathletics - you'll have two new perimeter activities assigned based on what you've just watched. Don't forget that little 'i' on your Mathletics task if you are stuck - it can be very helpful explaining what you need to do.
