We're going to be carrying on our folk tales based on our plan - on to the fun part, the characters playing pranks! You might have noticed that folk tales have a lot of characters talking in them (even if those characters are animals!), so it's punctuating speech that we're focusing on today and something called reporting clauses. That sounds complicated, but all it means is the part of your writing that tells the reader who is speaking.
If you're really good at English, you can move the reporting clause to the middle of speech! Have a look at this BBC link about how to use speech in fiction - watch the video and complete the quiz at the bottom.
Once you've done that, get your characters pranking! Remember we want the greedy character to try three pranks that all backfire or go wrong in some way. Make sure you include speech between your characters!
