Remember when we read Brer Rabbit and the White Plums by Enid Blyton? You should, because it was only yesterday - check Day 40 literacy if you've forgotten. It's time to get inside the heads of folk tale characters. What we're after is a drawn freeze frame of any scene in that story - where they meet, where Brer Fox is up a tree, where Brer Fox falls down and Brer Rabbit jumps out of the way, any scene in that story. From one character, we want a speech bubble like this one:
From the other, a thought bubble - what do they think about what the other character is saying?
Remember you can pick any scene from the story - just make sure you tell me what one of them is saying, and what the other is thinking about it!
