Literacy

Morning Year 4! Today we're going to be building on our work we did last week on non-chronological reports. I've got a selection of examples that we're going to read and evaluate - evaluate means that we say what's good, and what could be improved. When we're thinking about evaluating, we need to think about our PALS - the purpose, audience, language and structure of the text. Why does it exist? Who is it for? How does the language and how it is set out help?

On PurpleMash your 2do is called Day 6 - Evaluating non-chronological reports. It'll have a checklist of features to look for and a place at the bottom to write what you thought was good and what could be improved about the reports below. You can pick any one you like, as long as you tell me the good and bad!
