This week at Northern, we have held our Anti-Bullying week. During this week, the children learn about what bullying is, what they should do and how they can keep themselves safe both in school and online. In Year 6, we looked at the terms associated with bullying and we completed sessions on scenarios, drama, poetry and diaries. We looked at how different we all were and how we still fit together to be Year 6. The children completed a jigsaw piece unique to themselves ready to go on display. We then played a game to see if they could guess their classmate just from the puzzle piece and several children guessed all of the pieces! They then wrote some very moving diary entries imagining that they were the victim of bullying and how other people could have helped them. Well done Year 6.
